	Medicaid is the State and Federal cooperative venture that provides medical coverage to eligible needy persons. Benefits are provided in your area by Aetna. When you enroll into the Medicaid program, you have Aetna HMO coverage and have access to Aetna’s large list of providers and program services. CHIP is a state sponsored health care program for the children under age 19 of families who make too much money for Medicaid, but cannot afford health care for their children. Benefits are provided in your area by Aetna. When a child is enrolled into CHIP, a parent/legal guardian may select Aetna HMO.
